What are the performances of different rivet riveting methods?
General riveting
Generally, the riveting process is simple, the connection strength is stable and reliable, and the application plan is wide. The deformation of the joint is large. Generally, riveting is widely used in various components and parts of the body, among which the half round head and flat cone head rivets are used to connect the outer skin with low requirements for internal organization and aerodynamic shape of the body, the countersunk head riveting is mainly used for the outer skin with high requirements for aerodynamic shape, and the large flat round head rivets are used for the skin and tank tank with low requirements for aerodynamic shape.
Sealing riveting
The sealing riveting is characterized by eliminating the structural gap and blocking the leakage path. The process is complex, and the laying of sealing materials should be carried out under certain construction temperature and humidity.
Special riveting
Riveting power is high, operation is simple; can get used to the special requirements of the structure; rivet structure is complex, production cost is high, application planning is narrow, riveting shortcomings are not easy to clean. It can be used for parts with special requirements of structure, and also for repairing and cleaning defects.
Interference fit
It has a long fatigue life, can seal the rivet hole, and basically improves the riveting quality. However, the accuracy of rivet hole is required to be high, and the cooperation space between rivet and hole before riveting is required to be strict. It is used for components and parts with high anti fatigue function requirements or sealing requirements.
Hand riveting
The utility model has the advantages of simple tool, convenient operation and low power. Sometimes used for small components, bracket nuts and double-sided countersunk head riveting.
